Warsaw University of Technology

The Warsaw University of Technology is one of the leading institutes of technology in Poland, and one of the largest in Central Europe, employing almost 500 professors. The origins of Warsaw University of Technology date back to 1826 when engineering education was begun in Warsaw Institute of Technology.


National Institute for Material Science

NIMS was established in April, 2001 by integrating National Research Institute for Metals and National Institute for Research in Inorganic Materials and started as a new organization independent from the Government. The total number of permanent researchers in the NIMS is about four hundred fifty and have almost same number of visiting researchers form abroad and from domestic industries. Annual budget of NIMS is approximately 210 million US$. NIMS is the largest research organization for Materials research in Japan.
